Suzanne will be performing with her full band that includes the Grammy Nominated John Keane!
Suzanne Slair’s second cd, “NOWHERE ROAD” drops 10.6.17.
Producued by Grammy nominated John Keane, it has already acclaimed a John Lennon Songwriting Award.
From that album, “Stink-Eye” features fiddler, Nicky Sanders from Steve Martin and the Steep Canyon Rangers, has already
racked up over a million listens on souncloud!
Singing and songwriting professionally since the age of 6 in her hometown of Calgary, Canada, Suzanne recorded and performed in hundreds of folk festivals and concerts at a very early age.
She also performed in the Opening Ceremonies for the Winter Olympics as a child, studied music at the Royal Conservatory of Canada, and then the AMDA conservatory in New York City.

The Train Depot is a brand new listening room venue in the old train depot in downtown Lawrenceville, GA. Tickets $20 adv./$25 day of show; seating is very limited, so get them early!
Doors at 6:30 pm, show starts at 7 pm.
A nice selection of beer and wine are available, as are soft drinks, bottled water, and coffee. A gourmet catered menu will also be available for purchase; bring your friends and spend the evening!

A three day workshop really does just scratch the surface of all there is to know, teach and learn, but finding the paths to being a better writer and musician will prove an invaluable scratch for the itch.
Focuses will include information and direction on creative and formula songwriting, defining your style, music arrangement and construction, exercises in co-writing, work ethics and goal setting, communicating to an audience, understanding the technical side of audio and how to speak the language, how to choose/do you need a producer?, and more.
Whether beginner or pro, there is much to learn and share when delving into the logistics and creative territory of music composition and lyric construction. Please join us as we uncover a little of the mystery, leaving plenty enough hidden – enough for discovering your own voice.
***Thursday Evening we will have a meet & great from 7:00 to 8:00 pm to familiarize folks with the Parker Ranch, as well as to introduce you to Caroline and Dede.***
The workshop hours are Friday at 9:30am until 4:30pm with an evening session after dinner. Saturday workshop hours will be the same. Saturday night Caroline and Dede will perform a house concert.
Sunday workshop hours are 9:30am until 12:30 with a wrap-up lunch starting at 12:30.
Pricing:
Residential students – $475 double occupancy (2 people are asked to share a room with private bath)
Non-residential students – $375 (for either locals or those wanting a private room staying elsewhere)
